Breeder's Statement: Opting for quality over quantity, Absolute is a small cattery raising kittens who are happy, healthy, and loving little creatures. Never caged and raised underfoot in my home/office, they are additionally socialized by two playful and protective Dobermans. While Absolute has enjoyed significant success in the showhall (4 Regional Winners in the past 4 years), the primary goal of the breeding program is health and dispostion, first; show success comes second. Coefficient of inbreeding (COI) is calculated for each mating, keeping it as low as possible. Recently, a fabulous female was imported from Italy as an complete outcross, thus expanding the gene pool. When kittens leave for home, generally at 4 months of age, they are fully vaccinated, microchipped, surgically altered (neuter/spay), and come with a written health guarantee. Breeder's Statement: Glenlea has been breeding Abys since 1983. We have bred two CFA National Winning cats in Championship. Blue male GC NW GLENLEA'S MAVERICK was 18th Best Cat in the 06-07 season. Fawn male GC NW BW GLENLEA'S ROLLS ROYCE OF PURSSYNIAN was 13th Best Cat in the 08-09 season. Rolls was the first fawn Abyssinian to receive a National Win in Championship and the first fawn to be Best of Breed. GC RW GLENLEA'S LOTUS, DM earned a Distinguished Merit Award by producing five Grands (3 Regional Winners) in her first litter.
