Breeder's Statement: Breeding and showing award winning Maine Coons since 1996. Home of CFA's 5th Best All Breed Kitten 2009/2010 season - GC,NW Tropikoons Hang Ten of Mainesuspect (see his video on our website). We strive for all that is the best in home and show temperment by raising our kittens underfoot once they are litter trained. We are a small cattery and our cats are our family. We have produce two sires of Distinguished Merit (they have had 15 grand champion or grand premier offspring), GC, RW Mainesuspect Lacoste of Versus, DM and GC Mainesuspect Profiler of Tropikoons, DM and one outstanding dam, Mainesuspect Caol Ila of Sarajen, DM (she produced 5 grand champion or grand premier offspring). We have been fortunate to have bred our own National and Breed Winners in each competitive category. We believe the very best show cat is the very best pet--a cat who has an outgoing affectionate personality is both wonderful in the show ring and at home. Our kittens are raised underfoot and usually stay with us until they are between 13 and 16 weeks old. We make a serious and ongoing commitment to every kitten born here; at any time in their lives, we are always available to ensure they have a safe home. Breeder's Statement: Our Maine Coons are a labor of love. We use a board-certified cardiologist that uses a Dopplar to examine all our breeding cats, and we DNA-test for the MyBPC-3 gene mutuation for HCM and do some SMA testing as well. Happy, healthy cats are our primary goal. We choose homes for our kittens carefully and enjoy followups from our kitten buyers. Our kittens and cats are raised with a darling German Pinscher. We enjoy showing, for meeting new friends, staying around the positive people we love, and meeting with visitors to shows to see all the different breeds. We also love the opportunity to compare the breed standard qualities of our cats with those of other breeders worldwide. Maine Coons are so loving and will touch your heart.
