Cattery Listing Signup: Start
Signing up for the FBRL is easy,
but it may take up to 15 minutes to complete the necessary
forms. Please make sure to give yourself adequate time.
Please do not use this form if you
are adding a breed or cattery name to an existing listing.
If you are already signed up with the FBRL and need
to add a breed or cattery name, go to the Breeders
Page to obtain the proper form.
There are just a few steps to signing
up:
1. Terms of Service Agreement: This
is a short screen where you certify a few important things
about your cattery and cattery practice. This reiterates rules
set forth in the New Cattery
FAQ. It is available in five languages.
2. Information Form: This is the information
you need to give me to create your listing. You will need
your cattery registration number, unless you belong to an
association such as GCCF or NZCF that does not have such numbers.
3. Payment: The FBRL accepts Visa,
Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, and payment is
completed immediately through Verisign's PayFlow Link. We also accept PayPal. Listings go up within 2-3 business days of submission and payment.
You
may also pay by check or money order, but your listing will
not go up until after full payment is received.
A new cattery listing is $55 ($50 per year
+ $5 new cattery setup fee).
You're done! If you've paid by credit
card, you will receive an acknowledgment from me that both
your listing and payment have been received and your cattery
listing will be processed. Cattery listings generally go up
within 7 days afterward, and your official "subscription
start" date is set to the 1st of the month after your
listing goes live.
If you are planning to pay by check, you
will receive acknowledgment that your listing information
has been received, and a second notification when payment
is received.
After payment has cleared, your cattery will
go up on the website and your subscription "start date"
is set to the 1st of the month after your listing goes live.
For example, even if your listing goes live on the website
on January 2nd, your listing subscription start date, for
accounting purposes, will go into the record as February 1.
