FBRL Retired Friends: Adding a Retired Friend

The following terms MUST BE MET to sign up with Retired Friends:

1. You must be a PAID subscriber to the Fanciers Breeder Referral List and have a current breeder listing with the FBRL.

You must be the designated listing member of a PRE-APPROVED rescue organization. If you wish to become an approved organization and designate a contact for the FBRL, please contact webmaster@breedlist.com.

Listings from breeders not affiliated with the FBRL or from pet owners will not be accepted. Exceptions for breeders who were once affiliated with the FBRL and who are getting out of breeding entirely may be made on a case-by-case basis ONLY.

2. All cats must be spayed or neutered prior to listing with Retired Friends. Breeders listing unaltered animals on Retired Friends can be subject to disciplinary suspension of all FBRL listing privileges.

3. Cats must be at least 1 year old at the time of listing. Special Friends cats may list as early as 10 months of age, but they must qualify for Special Friends placement and conform to the rules above.

4. Breeders may list up to three (3) cats at one time. Exceptions are made only in special circumstances and must be approved in advance.
