Birman kittens are interactive, charming, and sweet-natured, with soft voices. Birman breeders breed primarily in the four colorpoint shades of seal, blue, chocolate, and lilac, but may also work with red, cream, tortie, and lynx point. Birman are longhaired but do not have high grooming requirements -- once a week is enough to maintain their coats, although more frequent grooming during shedding seasons may be necessary to maintain both the cat and the furniture.
