Ragdoll kittens are exceptionally gentle, tolerant, and good-natured. Like their name implies, many of them do go limp when picked up.

Ragdoll breeders work primarily in mitted, colorpoint, and bicolor patterns in the traditional seal, chocolate, blue, and lilac point, although some work with the less common lynx and tortie patterns. Ragdolls benefit from daily grooming.
