Fanciers Breeder Referral List Statement of Privacy: The
Fanciers Breeder Referral List recognizes the confidentiality
of information that may be disclosed by members in signing
up, making corrections, or making purchases from our website
and we are firmly committed to protecting your privacy. The
following discloses our information gathering and dissemination
practices for this site.
Overview
The personal, private information that is
provided to the Fanciers Breeder Referral List by individual
subscribers is not provided to unrelated third parties except
in rare cases involving possible violations of our use policies

a breeder subscribes to become a listed cattery. This is necessary
to provide adequate information for site visitors to make
an informed decision. We also ask for billing information,
such as address, telephone number, and credit card information,
though our third-party credit card processor, Verisign, or through PayPal. Billing
information is never shared with third parties and is only
used for billing purposes, period.
Personal information is not requested of
site visitors and site users -- only of listed breeders.
Does the Fanciers
Breeder Referral List use my personal information for any
reason other than providing information for my advertising?
The only reason we would use your private
information is to contact you ourselves about a billing problem,
new site information, subscription reminders, and the like. Your information will never be sold or included by us in any
kind of marketing list for the purposes of a third-party advertiser
for any reason. If your public information ends up in
that situation, it is because this was taken without my permission
and you should judge the motives and ethics of the sender
accordingly.
Does the Fanciers
Breeder Referral List request or require any personal financial
information?
To facilitate payment for subscriptions
by listed breeders, the Fanciers Breeder Referral List will
request personal credit card or debit card information through
our third-party credit card processor, Verisign, or through PayPal. Other information,
such as billing address and email, are required for verification
and to make sure that your payment is credited properly.
Will the Fanciers
Breeder Referral List disclose any of my personal information
to third parties?
The Fanciers Breeder Referral List will
not disclose any of your personal information, except with
your advance knowledge and written consent as described in
this policy or as may be required by law, or to protect the
rights or property of the Fanciers Breeder Referral List.

The Fanciers Breeder Referral List does

specific to their own listing from time to time, such as subscription

If you are a listed breeder, there is certain
minimum information that must be provided, such as your name,
cattery name, cattery registration number (for verification
purposes), state or province (if in the United States, Canada,
or Australia), country (if outside the United Staes, Canada,
or Australia), breeds, and email address. Listings may not
appear without an email address. Other information, such as
city, cattery information, telephone number, fax number, or
web site address are all optional.
Certain personal information is also required
to complete financial transactions but this is not used for
any reason other than verification. You may always opt out
of optional information by sending a request through the Update
Form.
