Notes: Amy is a very very social cat declawed, front and back, by her first owner (though contractually forbidden). She is a spunky curious in that 'let's get into things and/or watch them go over the edge' way ; she's a joyful open friendly girl who loves to snuggle and play with both her human and feline friends. I've seen no sign that her lack of gripping capabilities frustrates her. A few easy but important allowances can insure both that her home environment is absolutely escape-proof and that it allows a natural expression of her drives: for instance, watching her world from up--high or hunting 'prey' (string, etc.). Also, I must note that she brings with her an advantage: she cannot scratch the furniture. In summary, I would love to go on talking about her, answer questions, and mention that my commitment to my cats is lifelong.
