Cat Breed Description
While all Scottish Fold breedings can result in both straight-eared and fold-eared kittens, "straight-ears" are considered part of the Scottish Fold breed in most other associations that accept the breed. They are longhaired or shorthaired, and are the same as a Scottish Fold, except without the folded ears. As a result, Scottish Straights will never develop the cartilige problems that can be an issue with Scottish Folds.
The Scottish Straight personality is mellow
and affectionate, although the activity level can vary depending on whether it has an ancestry of mostly-British Shorthair or mostly-American Shorthair; a Fold with more British ancestry will be more laid-back than one who's more American.

Notes: Bean is a lovely Scottish straight girl with a big padded body and lovely round head with expressive eyes. She comes from great lines (her mom was the #2 kitten in the world) but I've been unable to get her bred and recently found out she's "B" blood. This isn't an issue as a pet but can cause death in kittens so I don't want to deal with it and have made the difficult decision to place her. She's a playful girl who likes attention although isn't a pick me up carry me around girl. She's in great health UTD on vaccines.. just needs a loving home to call her own.
